Good Morning Families,
This is our last week before Thanksgiving Break. This week we will finish up our Number Books in math. These books reflect knowledge about concepts like absolute value, factors, multiples, prime numbers, composite numbers, and perfect squares. We also may be venturing into the world of integers this week, time permitting. I have been very excited to hear many students say they are working on Khan Academy at home. This will no doubt serve them very well in math now and in the future!
We will also be continuing our work on the backyard project this week. Please be prepared, students may be asking for your help in locating or transporting resources for our project. The progress the students are making in this project is tremendous, but we still have a ways to go before completion. As my grandfather always said, anything worth doing takes time. I am looking forward to a beautiful week!
