As many of you already know, our students will be giving their Presentations of Learning this Thursday and Friday. A schedule with exact student times was emailed to parents and is also posted outside of my classroom. Students have worked diligently to finish and polish up their presentations, so continue asking them about their progress and even have them practice at home.
We also moved into multiplying and dividing with fractions and mixed numbers last week and will continue that work this week. Coming soon we will be testing our fractions skills by sizing down a rice krispie treat recipe and making them in class! This will be followed by a fractions "mini project" that will allow students to demonstrate their knowledge in a way that is unique to them.
